The computer center of IHEP is a sophisticated and complicated computer network system. Including six subnet plus four special environments, the IHEP computer center network system consists of eighty nodes. There are VAX4550, VAX6330, VAX8550, VAX785, VAX780, fifteen VAX Workstations and eight HP Workstations on the computer system of the huge network that is a node of the INTERNET with a number of modernized local networks and global networks. Its total CPU capability is 915 MIPS, total amount of memory is 976 MB, and its space size of hard disks is 130 GB.
